It’s a good thing that there are plenty of things to do this March Break; from sports to crafts, you will discover a wide variety of fun activities for your family to enjoy during the week of March 12-16. Whether you’re looking for a drop-in activity or a week-long camp, there is something for everyone.

What Is It: Keep learning and imagination growing throughout March Break with daily programs at the Simcoe County Museum. Young minds can learn all about early settlement and immigration to Canada and see how their ancestors once lived.

Where: Tiffin Conservation Area
What Is It: Kick off March Break by getting outdoors! Tour the maple bush and sugar shack to learn how maple syrup is made. Or try out some winter activities like snowshoeing and kick-sledding. www.essatownship.on.ca/community/communityevents
Music and Magic
When: March 13 at 9:00 am – noon
Where: Magna Centre, Newmarket
What Is It: Spend the morning in total interactive fun participating in music making, a magic show, games, crafts and a bouncy castle. Cost $5 per child.

Where: Huronia Museum, Midland
When: March 12-16, 2018
What is it: Your child will enjoy games, crafts and activities, including daily skating. Cost $22/day per child for ages 5-12.

Town of Penetanguishene March Break Day Camp
Where: Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (Arena)
When: March 12-16, 2018
What is it: This day camp has it all – 5-pin bowling, a trip to the movie theatre, a magic show at the museum, snow tubing and cooking. Cost $35/day per child or $155/week per child for ages 5-11.

March Break Hockey Camp
Where: Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (Arena)
When: March 12-16, 2018
What is it: Led by National Women’s Hockey League alumni Fiona McLeod, this is a great camp for kids with at least one year of experience playing hockey. Cost $300/week per child for ages 6-13.
March Break Hockey Day Camp
Hardwood Ski & Bike March Break Camp
Where: Hardwood Ski & Bike, 402 Old Barrie Road West
When: March 13th 10 am – noon, March 15 1 pm – 3 pm & March 16 10 am – noon
What is it: These 2-hour sessions will be full of fun, games, skiing and even some tobogganing. Sign your child up for one or more of these sessions. Please sign up early or it may be full! (A trail pass or season pass is required) Cost for the clinic only – $35 or $90 for all 3 days – With Trail Pass & Rental $55 or $150 for all 3. For ages 5-10.
Hardwood Ski & Bike March Break Day Camp
Shaw’s Sugar Bush
Where: 493 14 Line S, Orillia
When: March 10-18, 2018, 8 am to 4 pm
What is it: Drop by for horse drawn wagon rides, a walking trail, experience sap boiling and enjoy delicious treats at the Pancake House.
