As Christmas draws near, the hustle and bustle of the holiday season falls upon us. There is still so much to see and do to get you in the holiday spirit, so take some time to enjoy these events happening around the region this month!

Winter Wonderland
When: December 1 – January 7, every evening from 6:00-9:00 pm
Where: Riverwalk Commons, Newmarket
What Is It: Dazzling holiday light displays and a free outdoor skate. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, children can ride the Tim Hortons Express train (weather permitting). The Ice Lounge offers a cool outdoor lounge to gather with friends. New this year, enjoy Frozen Fridays and Surprise Saturdays!

A Canadian Christmas Eh!

The Men of the Deeps

Guess How Much I Love You

What Is It: Presented by the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, this tale is adapted from award-winning author Sam McBratney. Guess How Much I Love You is a story of the love between father and son hare rabbits. Tickets are $23.

Concert at the Beach
