Winter Break Activities

When: Dec 22 – Jan 6, 2019, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Where: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, 16160 Highway 12 E., Midland
What Is It: Discover the beauty of Nature on the stunning winter terrain of Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre this winter break. Daily activities include but are not limited to, hiking, bannock roasting, visits from the “feature creature,” swan stories, and snowshoe discovery guided tours.

Nerf Gun Game Night

When: Friday, January 4th 
Where: Midland Public Library
What Is It: Pack up your nerf guns and head on out to the Midland Public Library to challenge your friends in an action-packed game of capture the flag. Admission: $5:00 per participant.

Indoor Shuffleboard

When: Mondays and Thursdays, January 3rd – 31st
Where: North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre
What Is It: Come one come all to an evening of FREE shuffleboard lessons. Men and women of all ages are encouraged to participate in an evening of games as well as socialize with fellow shuffleboard lovers within the community.

Give Life – Give Blood

When: Monday, January 7th 2:00 pm -7:00 pm
Where: North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre
What Is It: Start the year off right while donating to those in need.

Meat Draw

When: Friday Evenings from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Where: Royal Canadian Legion Midland
What Is It: Gather with loved ones and your fellow Midlanders every Friday to enjoy live music and the chance to win local produce and support the local legion.

The February Blues Festival

When: January 31st– February 4th
Where: Various Venues throughout Simcoe County
What Is It: Conclude your month the right way! Attend The February Blues Festival for a full weekend of live music, great food, and an array of venues throughout the region.
