The Mark Faris Team took the #IceBucketChallenge for ALS
We, The Mark Faris Team, accepted the #IceBucketChallenge to raise awareness for ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a rapidly progressive neuromuscular disease and there is no effective treatment and no cure.
The challenge involved getting doused with buckets of ice cold water and sharing the video on social media. In turn, the video generates awareness for ALS, and encourages others to accept the challenge and donate to the cause. The Mark Faris Team challenged City of Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman, The Barrie Colts, and Chef Randy Feltis & his staff at Pie Wood Fired Pizza Joint.
The #IceBucketChallenge was a small way our team could go full out for others, and a donation of $5,000 has been made to ALS on behalf of The Mark Faris Team. We encourage you to participate to raise awareness and raise funds for research and support services.
