Exhibit Hours:
Arts & Craft Exhibits are not open on August 3rd (it’s their set-up day)

Midway Hours:
Aug 3 – 5:00 – 11:00 pm
Aug 4, 5 – 11:00 am – 11:00 pm
Aug 6 – 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

4. What’s new at Kempenfest 2018

• It’s back to being supersized since full access to Centennial and South Shore Parks has been restored
  • Over 350 arts and crafts exhibitors
  • 40 Antique dealers
  • 40 Sponsor booths
• Two beer gardens with daytime and nighttime entertainment
• New and improved Family Centre
• FREE water refilling stations
• 50/50 Raffle (Ticket sales close at 4:00 pm on Aug. 6 and the winning numbers will be announced at the Kempenfest Main Stage the same day at 5:00 pm)
• Way more parking nearby

5. Get the Kempenfest app

The first thing you need to do is download the Kempenfest app which will give you access to:

Original Arts and Crafts

• Hand-made by on-site artisans such as Anchored Signs (Booth 187, #3 on the map)

Tastes of Kempenfest 

• Located on the South Shore between Tiffin Launch and the Sundial
• Get things for and from the kitchen which are not commercially produced: jams, preserves, fudge, chocolate, and more
• Come hungry!

7. Kempenfest antiques

Every year, the Barrie Optimist Club hosts a show of antiques and collectibles at the Centennial parking lot. Check out everything from jewelry, old water pumps, coffee and harvest tables, blanket boxes, mirrors, signs and more at this unique show. Plus enjoy french fries, ice cream, pop and water.

8. Kempenfest fun for kids

• Robertson Traveling Theme Park Midway
• Tim Hortons Family Centre: paint a giant mural, pick a mini birdhouse to paint, games, activities, quiet places for nursing moms, Beavertails, Pita Pit
