Canada turns 151 years old this year and in true Canadian fashion, Simcoe County is proudly celebrating our country’s heritage.

Celebrate by checking out these amazing fun-filled Canada Day weekend events!

 

Collingwood Festival for Canada

When: June 30 – July 2
Where: Downtown Collingwood and Harbour
What Is It: Come out to celebrate Canada’s birthday with special events throughout downtown Collingwood at the harbour. Enjoy live entertainment, on-water activities, a pancake breakfast, gigantic birthday cake and more. Fun to be had for the whole family. (Fireworks Time TBA)

Canada Day at Blue Mountain

When: June 30 – July 2
Where: Blue Mountain Village
What Is It: A weekend of festivities and fun in the village. Enjoy live music all weekend long, guided hiking tours, family activities, movies under the stars sponsored by Subaru and Canada Day fireworks.

Canada Day Celebration

When: June 30 – July 1
Where: Couchiching Beach Park, Orillia
What Is It: Celebrate Canda Day all weekend long with activities for the whole family. Enjoy a children’s fun zone with inflatables, food and craft vendors, a pancake breakfast, parade, live entertainment and more. Don’t miss the fireworks display on Sunday at 10pm.

Promenade Days

When: June 30 – July 2
Where: Dunlop St, Downtown Barrie
What Is It: Enjoy the Canada Day long weekend din a celebration of events all weekend long. Enjoy live music, children’s activities, street performers, food, a midway and more. Catch an amazing fireworks display over Kempenfelt Bay on July 1 at 10pm.

When: July 1 – 8
Where: Various Locations Throughout Tottenham
