Community Day at The Barrie Food Bank

With a desire to give back to the community, the Mark Faris Team went “Full Out” for the Barrie Food Bank, helping to sort 70,000 lbs of food for their annual Easter food drive.  On April 24th, we rallied with 27 members of our team, our family and our friends to tackle and sort an amazing mountain of food, headed for those in need in the Barrie community.  It was an inspiring sight, as everyone gave it their all, achieving our considerable goal within a few hours.

The Barrie Food Bank has an incredibly passionate and devoted staff that cares deeply about their community and the organization.  They strive towards a vision of a “community where no one is hungry”.  Each year, the Barrie Food Bank supports over 32,000 individuals from the Barrie area, including over 10,000 children and a growing number of seniors.

At The Mark Faris Team we understand that our clients and our community are one and the same, and we are blessed to serve both through our volunteer and community service efforts, as well as through our exceptional customer service.  We recognize that we have an opportunity and responsibility to strengthen and support all of the communities in which we serve.  More information about our involvement in our community can be found on our website at markfaris.ca/community/giving-back.

We are tremendously proud of our team and their amazing families and friends for their outstanding effort at this event.  It was such a positive day, and it was great fun to meet this challenge together.  This wholehearted enthusiasm is core to The Mark Faris Team and central to the success that we are today.  Thank you everyone for all of your hard work!
