Get your family bundled up this weekend and beat the winter blues at Barrie’s Winterfest and Festival of Ice! Named one of the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. Offering fun for the whole family, make memories February ^1st and ^2nd and celebrate winter!

Delight in a horse-drawn wagon or dogsled ride through Heritage Park. The kids will have a blastfinding their way through the ice maze or sliding down the giant snow slide! For the mighty and brave – take a polar bear dip, or warm up at the MacLaren Art Centre with a tour of the gallery and more fun family-friendly activities. You can watch expert lumberjacks demonstrate their skills in speed sawing, axe throwing and chainsaw carving, or come out Saturday to celebrate with the Toronto Argonauts on their win of the 100^th Grey Cup! New this year to Winterfest is family entertainment located at the Mady Centre for the performing arts which will feature four different artists offering music the whole family can enjoy!
