Mike brings a unique portfolio of experience to Faris Team. Prior to pursuing a career in real estate, he worked as a detective for the Leicestershire Police Department, in Leicester, England where he was born and raised. In 2004, he and his family, embarked on a new adventure by moving to Canada.
Upon moving to Canada, Mike obtained his real estate license in 2005, as well as becoming a licensed Immigration Consultant. Mike found joy in helping immigrants such as himself with the relocation process. He continues to put his passion to help others to work by providing his clients with an exceptional real estate experience. Mike is a very hardworking and focused professional who thoroughly enjoys helping his clients in their real estate journey.
When he isn’t selling real estate, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children. He can be found cheering them on from the sidelines at their various extra-curricular activities, or out enjoying a hike with their dogs. Mike’s core values, and serving others, are at the forefront of all he does.
WHAT MAKES YOUR FAMILY UNIQUE FROM OTHERS?
We are the United Nations of families! My wife and I, along with our two eldest were born in England, our youngest boy was born in Canada and our daughter is Russian, although we are all now Canadian Citizens. It makes for an interesting time when any of the countries play each other at sport!
WHAT ARE THE TOP THREE PLACES THAT YOU HAVE TRAVELLED TO?
The top three places that I have travelled to include: Barbados where I married my wife, Deb in 1994, who I met when I was a cop in England. Siberia, Russia, where my wife and I spent many weeks awaiting the approval for the adoption of our daughter. Lastly, any location that I can spend time with my four children and my wife has made for the best travel experiences.
WHAT REALLY MAKES YOU LAUGH?
Good old fashioned British humour and comedy shows!

I love the satisfaction of telling homebuyers that their offer was accepted and that they will soon be moving into their perfect home. I also enjoy interacting with clients who are looking to make the largest purchase in their lives, and entrusting you to help them in the process is also very satisfying.
