Santa is coming to town! Join Santa and his elves at your local holiday events throughout November and December.

 

Santa Claus Parade – Angus

When: Nov 19 @ 10am

Where: Mill St, Downtown Angus

What Is It: The tradition of Christmas starts with a visit from jolly old St. Nicholas himself in downtown Angus. This year’s theme is a “Disney World Christmas”.

Santa Claus Parade – Newmarket

When: Nov 19 @ 11am

Where: Eagle & Main St, Downtown Newmarket

What Is It: Kick off the holiday season with a traditional parade and visit from Santa along the historic streets of downtown Newmarket. Non-perishable food items will be collected for the local food bank.

Santa Claus Parade – Keswick

When: Nov 19 @ 1:30pm

Where: Starts at Biscayne Blvd. and the Queensway

What Is It: Santa Claus is coming to Keswick! The parade starts at Biscayne Blvd. and the Queensway at 1:30pm, follows the Queensway to Metro Road and goes up Simcoe Street and ends at Church Street and the Queensway.

Santa Claus Parade & Christmas Festivities – Alliston

When: Nov 19 @ 4 – 9pm

Where: Alliston

What Is It:  Thousands of families, both local and from out of town, will line Victoria Street to catch the lighted night time parade! Enjoy complimentary hot apple cider, hot chocolate and again this year there will be handmade “Rurban” tree ornaments which children can decorate and take away. Don’t miss your chance to spot the jolly elf and take a quick “selfie” with Santa before the parade from 4pm – 5:30pm. Santa will also be strolling Victoria Street, between Church St. and Paris Street.

What Is It: Santa Claus is coming to town to visit the boys and girls of Barrie. Afterwards, sip a cup of hot cocoa while watching the Christmas tree lighting and fireworks display at the town square.

What Is It: The theme for this year’s parade is “Memories of a Childhood Christmas”. The Parade will form in Little Lake Park on Saturday morning then proceed down King Street ending at Bay Street.

Where: Wasaga Beach RecPlex

What Is It: Begin the day with activities and fun for kids of all ages. Then find a seat along the parade route and watch Santa come to town! Finish the evening with a cup of hot chocolate watching the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Santa Claus Parade & Tree Light Up – Cookstown

When: Nov 26 @ 1pm

Where: Queen Street, Cookstown

What Is It: The parade starts at 8pm and will have an assortment of floats all lit up, proceeding down Queen Street. Tree lighting takes place at 6pm, followed by visits with Santa Claus from 6pm to 7:45pm to mail your letter!

Where: Pine Street, Waubaushene

What Is It: The Waubaushene Santa Clause Parade starts at 1pm and goes down Pine Street to the Fire Hall. Following the Parade, everyone is invited to the Fire Hall for a Community Gathering including refreshments, fun and a chance to visit Santa!

What Is It: Downtown Beeton is aglow with the holiday spirit welcoming visitors and shoppers alike. By late afternoon, line the streets to view dazzling floats and displays and catch a glimpse of Santa Claus as he arrives in town!

 

Santa Claus Parade – Wyevale

When: Dec 3 @ 6 pm – 9 pm

Where: Wyevale

What Is It: An action-packed evening starting with a quirky presentation of The Night Before Christmas re-enacted by the Dufflebag Theatre. Afterwards, the theme of Christmas Memories of the Past brings a traditional parade to town. Then, gather at the United church for snacks, drinks and pictures with Mr & Mrs Claus.

 

Santa Claus Parade & Festival of Lights – Penetanguishene

When: Dec 3 @ 4 – 8pm

Where: Main Street, Penetanguishene

What Is It: 3rd Annual Santa Claus Parade in partnership with the Penetanguishene Lions Club. This year’s theme is “A Beary Merry Christmas”, so dig out your teddy bears and dress up your parade entry with a Teddy Bear Christmas theme! Parade will start at 4pm on Main Street, from Jeffery Street to the Town Dock.

What Is It: Join us for free skating from 4pm-5pm at the arena. The parade starts at 5:30pm, with children carrying candles and lighting the way for Santa Claus. Afterwards at 6pm meet Santa at the Mill for a treasure hunt and cookie decorating.
