What, already?? Yes! Ready or not, Santa Claus is coming to Simcoe County throughout November and the beginning of December.

Angus

When: November 17, 10:00 am
Where: Mill Street, Angus
What Is It: Bring in the holidays as Santa comes to town! Catch the Big Man in Red himself from Mill Street Angus, before heading over to the Angus Recreation Centre to discuss your Christmas list following the parade.

Newmarket

When: November 17, 11:00 am
Where: Downtown Newmarket
What Is It: Welcome Santa Claus to Newmarket! Enjoy numerous musical performances and colourful floats as they parade through the downtown streets all to ring in the Christmas spirit!

Barrie

When: November 17, 5:00 pm
Where: Downtown Barrie
What Is It: Welcome Santa to Town for the holidays at Barrie’s annual nighttime parade! Arrive early to grab a seat along the parade route to watch lighted floats and bands. After the parade, don’t miss live entertainment, face painting, hot chocolate and the traditional tree lighting ceremony and a fireworks show!  This year’s theme is “Christmas Past, Present and Future”.

When: November 17, 6:30 pm
Where: Downtown Bradford
What Is It: Santa comes to town at one of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s greatest holiday traditions. Enjoy this nighttime parade of live performances and floats from numerous local businesses and community groups. Don’t forget to bring your letter to Santa and a donation of a new unwrapped toy!

When: November 17, 5:00 pm
Where: Downtown Collingwood
What Is It: Celebrate the holiday season with a whole day of wintery fun! Shop for festive goodies and gifts from numerous downtown shops and view dazzling light displays. A traditional Santa Claus parade starts at 5:00 pm followed by a ceremonial tree lighting.

Where: Downtown Tottenham
What Is It: Gather with the community to light up the nights sky in this year’s annual Lights Festival. Featuring an abundance of Holiday inspired floats, music, and an appearance from Santa Claus himself, this locale event is sure to be a memorable holiday experience for years to come.

Where: Queen Street, Cookstown
What Is It: Celebrate the holidays with Light Up Night as the Christmas tree on Queen Street is lit for the season. Afterwards, enjoy traditional carolling, shop for the holidays as local stores stay open late, and watch the dazzling parade.

Where: Downtown Alliston
What Is It: Sponsored by the Alliston Rotary Club and the BIA, come out to this festive gathering to welcome Santa to town. Enjoy hot apple cider, hot chocolate and free ornament decorating for the kids. Live music and holiday shopping from local merchants will get you in the holiday spirit.

What Is It: Gather along the streets of downtown Wasaga Beach to watch numerous performers and floats in the Bright Lights holiday parade! Afterwards, enjoy hot chocolate, carol singing and photos with Santa before the tree lighting ceremony.

Where: Downtown Orillia
What Is It: Santa comes to this town alongside one of the largest parades north of Toronto! Featuring over 100 floats, bands and Santa Claus himself this outstanding community event its sure to ignite your Christmas Spirits! Non-perishable food donations collected for the Orillia Food Bank and a Bucket Brigade by the Orillia Kiwanis Club to support parade funding.

Where: Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil
What Is It: The spirit of the holiday season begins when Santa visits Innisfil! Don’t forget to bring a letter to Santa and non-perishable food donations for the Food Bank.

Where: Downtown Stayner
What Is It: Watch the parade unfold along Main St in anticipation of Santa’s arrival. Afterwards, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate at the Stayner Evangelical Missionary Church. Donations to the Clearview-Stayner Foodbank are greatly appreciated.

Where: Penetanguishene Harbourfront
What Is It: Hosted in partnership with the Penetanguishene Lions Club, gather with the rest of the town as they celebrate the holidays and welcome Santa Claus! Enjoy a spectacular festival of lights with the annual tree lighting at the Town Dock. Christmas festivities of face painting, live music, a BBQ and more will be hosted at the Centennial Museum.
