Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Simcoe County

It's only fair to share...Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestEmail this to someoneShare on Reddit

November is a month of remembering those who served and sacrificed for Canada’s freedom with November 11th observed as a memorial day commemorating the end of World War One. Inspired by the poem “In Flanders Fields”, a poppy is worn as a symbol of the first flowers that grew from the earth of the fallen soldiers’ graves. Wear a poppy in thanks to those who served for our country, and on November 11th participate in one of the numerous services occurring throughout Simcoe County.
