New Year, New Wheels!
This snowy January will be a little easier to endure for the grand prize winners of our Faris Team Full Out For You event, Scott and Jill Thomson. Drawn from hundreds of client ballots, the Midland family now proudly owns a luxurious 2016 Acura ILX!
“Today was definitely the icing on an incredible time. [We] can hardly believe we own such a great house and now this,” Scott wrote to us in a thank you message. “Awesome is an understatement. No words are adequate right now; both Jill and I are totally shell shocked.” Scott and Jill, who live in Midland, worked with our team last summer to find what they now describe as their “forever home.” We also helped them sell their existing property which garnered a full price offer only hours after it went on the market.
Held at The Barrie Molson Centre complete with ice skating, face painting and a visit from the Barrie Colts mascot, Charlie Horse, each client that bought or sold with The Faris Team in 2015 was eligible to attend the event and enter a ballot for the chance to win a selection of prizes including the grand prize luxury car. This was one more way our team could show gratitude for the growth of our business, which is largely based on referrals. “We strive to make our clients raving fans,” says Broker Mark Faris. “We would like to thank Mayor Jeff Lehman who came out with his family to the event and gave everyone an update of the city’s bright future,” adds Faris.
Engaging with our clients and community brings us immense joy here at The Faris Team, and this event was just one more way for us to show our gratitude. We look for meaningful ways to engage with our clients throughout the year. We host several client appreciation events like our Morning at the Movies at Cineplex Theatre and Chappell Farms Pumpkin Festival. We proudly support many local charities such as The Barrie Food Bank, Royal Victoria Hospital, Women & Children’s Shelter, Senior Wish, Hospice Simcoe and Habitat for Humanity. Our team also takes part in the Big Red Bike for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and are involved in The Barrie Dragon Boat Charity Festival.
